Founding Partner & Strategic Architect
Ralph Dickerson III is the visionary force behind R² Partners. As Founding Partner and Strategic Architect, he leads the firm’s mission to help organizations, investors, and public sector leaders navigate inflection points with clarity, conviction, and action. With over three decades of experience at the intersection of corporate finance, M&A, and transformational strategy, Ralph brings both analytical rigor and creative foresight to every client engagement.
Prior to founding R²P, Ralph served as CEO of a digital health company, led multi-billion-dollar strategic initiatives for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies, and held senior investment banking and private equity roles at Lehman Brothers, WWA Capital, and Bear Stearns. His dealmaking experience spans over $53 billion in completed transactions and includes everything from complex restructurings and urban redevelopment to cross-border M&A, capital raises, and public-private partnerships.
Ralph is widely recognized for his ability to operate across sectors—consumer, retail, industrials, tech, real estate, and government—and across disciplines—finance, strategy, operations, and leadership. He works shoulder-to-shoulder with clients, serving as both a thought partner and execution leader.
He holds an MBA from Syracuse University Martin J. Whitman School of Management and a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business. Ralph is also a registered securities professional, holding active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
At R² Partners, Ralph sets the strategic tone: rigorous, inventive, and always moving forward.
